I would also like to add that this feature is also present in my Kamigawa guide, which has gotten significantly more playtesting and vetting, so I stand by the trait but obviously, DMs have the final say on what they allow in their games and can nerf this if they feel it is too powerful. Overall, the ability is very useful, but shouldn't be broken, and the races were balanced accordingly. The strongest use of the feature is being able to wield a two-handed weapon and a shield, which could still technically be done without this feature, j ust requires object interaction. It doesn't allow you to make more attacks than normal, and you can still only benefit from 1 shield at a time per the rules. It's a strong ability that allows you to forego most cases where you'd need to drop or switch out items. The power of having secondary arms (for both the compleated race and the vedalken) was definitely considered.
